Fall 2012, named Outstanding Faculty by peers for teaching and contributions to American University’s Kogod School of Business.


Fall 2012, received special commendation letter from AU’s Office of Merit Awards for mentoring Taylor Saia as he prepared a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship application. OMA commented, “Your support played an essential role in helping Taylor to develop a high quality proposal to teach in Indonesia.” Taylor commented, “He [Professor Edgell] was courteous enough to meet with me during his office hours to discuss my proposal, and he was kind enough to write a reference …”
